Sakthikodu 1 at UPHC, Alwarpet

Sakthikodu, RCG's flagship project since past few years started off with it's first episode of the year at Urban Primary Health Care Center, Alwarpet, Chennai. Ably organised by Rtn. Sriraman, Director - Community Services Health, RCG team handed over 70 nutritious food packets to pregnant women and mothers at this Center. The Staff of the UPHC expressed their thanks for our initiative which is apt during the "Breast Feeding Week" that is being observed since Aug 1. Our President Rtn Radha gave a crisp and sharp message on the importance of breast milk for the child and the associated necessity for mothers to maintain a high nutrition diet. Thanks to Rotarians Prabhoo N M (PE), Rtn Karthikeyan K S (VSD) and Rtn Ananda Gomathy for their participation. Special thanks to Anns Mrs. Sriraman and Rema Venkatesh for their presence and support.
